What we collect and why

We collect only information reasonably needed to answer you, provide a quote, create and fulfill an order, take payment, arrange delivery or pickup, prevent fraud, provide support, and meet tax and legal obligations. This can include your name, contact and delivery details, order content, correspondence, transaction references, and technical security records. We do not store complete payment-card details.

Browser storage and payment forms

During checkout, the information you enter may be kept temporarily in your browser’s session storage so it can be restored while that browser tab remains open. Theme preference may be stored in local browser storage. Payment-card fields are supplied by the selected payment provider rather than stored by Momma Bird & Me. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings.

Service providers and locations

We may provide necessary information to payment, shipping, email, hosting, backup, security, and professional-service providers. Some providers may process information outside Québec or Canada, where different laws may apply. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the stated purpose and any required legal period. Account information and other data that is no longer necessary is securely deleted or, where legally permitted, anonymized. Transaction records may have to be retained for tax, accounting, chargeback, warranty, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes even after an account-deletion request.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, request account deletion, or ask how a decision was handled. We will verify identity before acting. Withdrawal or deletion may not affect information that the law requires or permits us to keep. Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time.

Security and incidents

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information. No system is risk-free. We assess confidentiality incidents, take steps to reduce harm, keep the required incident register, and notify affected people and the Commission d’accès à l’information when the law requires it.

Changes

We may update this notice when our practices or legal duties change. Notice version 1.0 is effective 2026-10-15.
